NOT YET
A 19-Year-Old's Perspective on Ambition, Timing, Luck, and the Process of Becoming
I started writing this in January with just one huge document, everything I believed and wanted to say, all around the same idea. The chapter order came later, once I could actually see what I had. I thought it would take a few months. It took basically the whole year: researching how books like this get written, rewriting every chapter (some more than once), designing the cover, figuring out spine width and bleed, things I didn't even know were part of writing a book.
I can't is a wall. Not yet keeps the door open.
NOT YET is about ambition, timing, luck, and becoming, written from someone young and still in the middle of it, not looking back after already making it. There's a chapter about a theater role I didn't get and a car ride with my dad that changed how I saw myself. One about a night alone on a beach in Miami, when everything felt like it had been worth it. And one about the months after that, when I wasn't at my best and wasn't sure that feeling was coming back.
Out now, digital and print, on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
